About Grapat

Grapat is a family-run company that designs and handcrafts toys in the Pyrenean mountains of Catalonia. Grapat is the creation of Casiana & Jordi who were inspired by the natural beauty of their daughter's free and creative play. When a child isn't hindered by a rigid format they can create almost anything. Grapat believes that this freedom to play, experiment and discover is precious to every child and so they have created a range of beautiful toys that allow play to blossom. Grapat toys are made using locally sourced natural materials like lime, beech and maple. Each piece is painted by hand with water-based, non-toxic dyes in colours inspired by nature.

This game with bowls and balls allows for the development of logical-mathematical thinking by classifying, grouping and matching elements through colours and/or shapes.
For younger children: The bowl can be used as a lid, to make the balls inside appear and disappear as the classic game of “peekaboo”. Also favours concepts such as fill in, empty or slip and slide.

The game contains 6 ‘Nins’, 36 rings and 6 coins in the colours of the rainbow.
Recommended age +18 months.
A textile bag with GOT Certificate fabric is included for storage.
