The Montessori daily skills and physical development book has grown out of Maja Pitamic's own popular work "Teach me to do it yourself" (published in Estonian in 2006), which is also a valued and reliable manual among users of the Montessori method. By acquiring new skills, the child's cognitive world expands, and experiencing one's abilities increases self-confidence. All activities are based on early childhood development theories and support the child's independence and thirst for knowledge.
In the book, 77 creative and playful activities are described in detail, with the help of which the child learns about the world of sounds, tastes and smells, works with various small objects and dresses and takes care of personal hygiene.
